Automation Instrument Engineer
Design, program, and maintain automated systems and instrumentation to optimize manufacturing efficiency and production quality.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement automation systems for production lines.
- Program and configure PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and SCADA systems.
- Maintain and calibrate instrumentation used in manufacturing processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation and instrumentation issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare technical documentation, manuals, and reports.
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance on automated systems.
- Ensure all systems comply with safety standards and regulations.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers for equipment procurement and support.
Requirements & Qualifications
- S1 degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or instrumentation engineering.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
- Experience with SCADA systems and industrial control systems.
- Solid understanding of instrumentation principles and calibration.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Knowledge of industrial safety standards (e.g., ISO, OSHA).
- Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia.
